The Memorial Day parade starts at 10 am at Heartland Bank (130 S. Main St.) and run south on Main Street. It will turn right on Oakwood Dr. and proceed into the Glendale cemetery. These roads will be temporarily closed only during the parade. At the cemetery, a ceremony will be held, including several speakers, including Max Tessier.
Sponsors of the event include the Washington American Legion, Washington VFW, and City of Washington.
This is a rain or shine event.
