Joint Review Board

State law requires municipalities to annually convene a meeting of a Joint Review Board (JRB) for the City’s Square Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District.  This board is made up a representative from each of the overlapping governments that receive property taxes from the designated TIF District, the Washington Fire Department, and one member from the public at large.  At that meeting, the JRB reviews the annual TIF report, approves minutes of the previous meeting, and discusses any new TIF projects and initiatives.
